BASIC NECESSITIES OF LIFE

BASIC NECESSITIES OF LIFE

Food, Clothing and Shelter are considered to be the basic necessities of human life.  Of course it is true that these three ingredients form the major factor that controls the human activities.  It is true that God appears in front of a poverty stricken human being in the form of food. When hunger is taken care of , then our mind thinks about covering our body.  God again appears in front of us in the form of clothing.  When we had finished clothing, then we look around ourselves and feel the heat of the sun and we feel restless with many of the factors of the nature namely rain, dust, wind etc.  Then God appears in the form of shelter in front of the human being.

We see God in the form of three basic necessities of life, but what happens to the human being after he has been blessed with food, clothing and shelter ?  Then he defines God according to his wims and fancies.  He keeps God at a distance and always fills the space between himself and God with so many other necessities.  He often prays to God to bless him with more money, more  assets, more power etc.  And in his race to acquire these things, he often forgets the presence of God.  He is possessed with greed for money and power, which forms the major ingredients of human life in this century.

This greed for money and power often tends him to adopt  inhuman practices.  He becomes less and less concerned about the people around him.   Thus he begins his ruthless play of life with no concern for others.

This is very much evident if we trace the history of the world.  When Columbus discovered America,  the inhabitants of the country were the Red Indians.  After Columbus, the Europeans began to flow to America and the Red Indians were slowly washed away from the mainstream of United States of America.  At certain stages the European migrants even massacred the Red Indians to sustain their power in America.
It is the same with Australia also.  The aborigines of Australia were washed away from the mainstream by the European migrants of Australia.  These two migrations were actually something like conquering these countries.  And now these conquerors rule these countries.  I am not finding fault with the present set up or inhabitants of these two countries.  I feel these two nations form a very civilized and economically forward countries and they have an important part to maintain peace in this world.  What I am trying to is just to view the history from a neutral position.  I feel even in my country India, the real owners of the nations are the tribal segments of our country.  But everywhere In the world, the so called civilized society discards them and slowly they will be eradicated from this earth.

The only positive signs I see in my country are that the tribal are given a chance to come up in life in the form of various packages by our Government in the form of free education and employment reservations in all sectors.

I would like to learn more about the other nations in the world who may be offering such helps to the sons of their soil.  Anybody who read this are welcome to educate me in this subject and I will be much thankful to them.
