MAN AND GOD

MAN AND GOD

We have got so many temples, mosques and churches all over the world.  A very good majority of the human race believe in God and almost all of them go to their worship places. If we analyse the messages of all the religions,  it leads us to the faith in God.  All the religions advocate the presence of God, but most of them madly stick to their doctrines about God.  Actually there is no such thing called the Hindu God, the Christian God and the Muslim God.  But the most of the advocates of religion believe that there is only one God and that is their God.  If the doctrine that God has created the human race from a single man and woman is true, then we should believe that there is only one God.

The religions teach us only good things but even then we can see all over the world, people who indulge in evil practices in the name of religions.  They oppose those who don't believe in their doctrines and even try to eradicate them.  This results in frictions between religions and enemity  between the so called believers. We can see so many religious fanatics who behave like anti social elements just because somebody opposes them.

The religions say that God has created this universe and all the nature and the inhabitants of this universe.  Then a man who believes in God should always love the nature and his fellow beings.  But what we see at present is that, man tries to destroy the nature for his momentary benefits.  He restricts his love for human beings to a very narrow spectrum.  He is not ready to love people from other part of the world. Actually the countries next to us and far from our country are not our enemies.  The world cannot be ruled under one leadership, since it is so much mixed up with so many cultures and diversities.  Hence, we can believe that it is the wish of the God that a particular region is ruled by some people and they formed a country.   This is inevitable and this is just for the sake of good administration of a region.  But this later on became my country and your country and began to fix frontiers between two regions.  Slowly we began to compete with other regions and certain countries began to see other countries as their enemies.  Now we can see the organisation of countries formed for their mutual benefits and against some other countries.  This narrow mindedness is seen almost everywhere.  Certainly there are people who does not come in this category  but they are only a minority and their voices are not heard by the majority.

How is this possible in such a society where a very good majority of the people believes in God ?   This is because most of the people believe in God and pray God for their selfish needs.  They believe that they can prosper, if they pray to God and make offerings to God.

But there is a welcome change in the society now a days, and unheard voices of the minority are being heard now.  Let us hope for a world with people who love others and who pray for the benefit of others.  Let this world be a league of extra ordinary gentlemen.
